Performs regular and preventative maintenance duties as necessary to ensure building and systems quality. Team member will be responsible for answering maintenance calls, creating work orders, logging hours, logging materials used, and reporting to property managers or supervisors. Team member will also be responsible for creating preventive maintenance plans and coordinating this in collaboration with subcontractors, as well as handling duties during resident turnover to ensure apartments are rent ready. Pay will be based on experience.
High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of building maintenance experience. Post secondary education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis. Candidate must be upbeat, friendly, and tech savvy. Must have a valid drivers licence, transportation, and be willing to be on call 24/7 during certain days of the month. Must be able to interact with co-workers, supervisors, guests and the general public in a professional and pleasant manner.

Ability to assess situations and make appropriate judgments

Ability to use online software programs for scheduling
Working knowledge of building plans and specifications
Time management skills
Light carpentry background
